Clueless on Computer
I am primarily a console gamer with a little bit of handheld experience thrown in on the side. The extent of my computer gaming is Jump Start Spanish, Neopets and the Sims - not very hardcore. This Friday I'm getting my first taste of intense computer gaming action on Hotline Miami, all while Jimmy tells me how awful I'm doing. Join us at 8 p.m. CST at twitch.tv/randomhavok!

私はミランダです!
Or in English, I'm Miranda! This is my third video game blog and I hope to make it my permanent blogging home.
Video games are my life and I couldn't image myself without them. When I was a toddler, my twin sister and I would try to steal our dad's Sega controller out of his hand until he decided to buy us our own controller - bad idea. We figured out how to plug the sucker in and would mess up his game.As we grew, my sister drifted from the video game path for the most part as I learned to love them even more.

PlayStation Vita: A New Home for Indies
It should be no surprise hearing that Sony is trying its hardest to make the PS Vita the elite system for indie titles. For weeks leading up to, and during PAX East and GDC, Sony has been tweeting left and right about the ease of developing for PS Vita, PS Mobile and the newly announced PS4.
Learn more about the benefits and advantages of PS Vita development in our #GDC session today at 11am: bit.ly/12R229Z

In 2013 alone, tons of Indie ports have been announced for PS Vita. They aren’t just any old Indie games either, they’re some of the biggest hits of this generation. It all started at the beginning of February when Frozen Synapse Tactics was announced, and then just shy of twenty days later, Hotline Miami, one of the biggest successes of 2012, was also announced to be coming to the powerful handheld.
Things went a little dark after that, but PAX East and GDC both brought forth a resurgence of Indie port announcements. Games like Limbo, Thomas Was Alone, Lone Survivor, Spelunky and, just revealed today, Terraria are all set to be coming to the Vita. While the Vita is a little sore from the lack of AAA titles, it seems to be nothing short of thriving in the realm of indie titles. It all makes complete sense, too.

Spring Sales
Each year spring brings a slew of gaming sales that will leave your wallet on life-support in a heartbeat. To make the torturous act easier, we've highlighted some of the best deals and on-sale games from Steam, Xbox Live and other deals.

First off we have Hotline Miami. We've already posted about this game but it belongs on this list because it's a necessary addition to any gamer's collection. It's on sale for $4.99 (50% off), but we recommend purchasing the soundtrack with it, bringing the total to just $10.00.
Guacamelee! Has a Release Date!
Graham Smith, COO of DrinkBox Studios confirmed today on the PlayStation Blog that Guacamelee! will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on April 9 for just $14.99. The game supports cross buy so one purchase will net you both versions of the game, and it also includes a Platinum Trophy!
Previews of Guacamelee! have been nothing short of stellar, which comes at no surprise after DrinkBox's previous PSN hit Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack.
The original post is an interesting read, detailing the game's origins, so I encourage you to click the link above and check it out.

Hotline Miami is On Sale for $4.99
Hotline Miami, one of the best titles of 2012 is on sale for just $4.99 on Steam during their Spring Indie Sale. The sale features over 1000 games at dirt cheap prices.
Hotline Miami was met with unanimous critical acclaim last October, and has won a slew of awards for its tight controls and incredible soundtrack.
If you love the soundtrack as much as I do, it is also on sale for $4.99. Since Hotline Miami usually costs $10.00 you'd essentially be getting the soundtrack for free. Also, Mac players will be happy to hear that the game just released for Mac.
Before you play this game ask yourself one question: Do you like to hurt people? Then when you beat it ask yourself the same thing. Your answer might surprise you.

Hi, I'm Jimmy.
Hello, World.
I've been writing about video games for a few years now. I've been in love with them even longer. I got my start in writing back in my senior year of high school and I've come a long way since then.
I started out putting original work on a Tumblr blog and from there I made a myIGN account to boost hits on my work. Last December I started writing for AllThatsEpic.com and my college's newspaper, The Anchor.
I love PlayStation and everything about it, so naturally my two most prized possessions are my PlayStation 3 and my PlayStation Vita. Aside from exclusives, I play most games on PC, unless I know I can hunt down the Platinum Trophy.
Some of my favorite games include: Uncharted 1-3, The Metal Gear Series, Max Payne 3, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Fallout 3/NewVegas, Sound Shapes, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Persona 4 Golden, Crysis 1-3, Far Cry 3 and Journey.
I look forward to the incredible things that are assuradly going to come from this partnership, and I hope you do too.
