Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
This rendition on the PopCap Games series transforms the tower defense game into a third-person shooter. The game will debut on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 in Spring 2014, but will make its way to other platforms at a later time.
Peggle 2
This announcement didn’t have a grand presentation, but the enthusiasm from PopCap's co-founder John Vechey and his memorable uppercut made this game’s announcement the sweetheart of E3.
Titanfall
Microsoft announced Titanfall at their conference, but EA followed up by playing a behind-the-scenes trailer that was laced with gameplay and concept art.
Star Wars Battlefront
For this announcement, all we were shown was a short teaser trailer and a logo.
Need for Speed Rivals
Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul not only announced the next title in the Need for Speed franchise, but also revealed a Need for Speed movie that is currently in production. A new feature called All Drive was also introduced, which allows other people to jump into a single player game to create a seamless multiplayer experience. Need for Speed Rivals will also have tablet integration.
Dragon Age: Inquisition
According to Bioware's GM Aaryn Flynn, in this Dragon Age the players' actions will affect the open-world environment and story. The game will be released in Fall 2014.
NBA Live 14
Following a spoken word poem about basketball, Cleveland Cavalier Kyrie Irving and NBA Live 14 Executive Producer Sean O'Brien introduced bounceTek, which improves the game's ball mechanics, and NBA LIVE World, which can update team data hourly.
Madden 25
The True Step locomotion system and Player Sense feature were announced for Madden 25, both which will give the game a more realistic feel.
FIFA 14
After the debut trailer for FIFA 14, EA summoned Drake to hype the audience for the next FIFA title. EA Sports GM Matt Bilbey took the state after Drake to introduce new FIFA features, such as Pro Instincts, that gives more movement control to the player. FIFA 14 will be available Fall 2014.
EA Sports UFC
Bruce Buffer enthusiastically welcomed EA Sports Andrew Wilson, UFC President Dana White and two UFC champions to introduce the MMAI system and the game's first trailer. EA Sports UFC will be released Spring 2014.
Battlefield 4
64 people showed off Battlefield 4's expansive multiplayer – a number that’s not new to the PC, but for consoles, it’s a big deal. Battlefield 4's Commander Mode makes a return and a new social feature called Battlelog was introduced which is a companion app to the game.
Mirror’s Edge 2
Recent rumors of a Mirror's Edge sequel were confirmed at the end of EA's conference. The trailer depicted Faith punching out bad guys and getting her tattoos - could this be a prequel?
