RPG fans rejoice! EarthBound has finally landed on the Wii U E-shop. This is the first time this game has seen the light of day in a long time, well at least legitimately (avoid roms!).
The story has you play as Ness followed by his friends as they attempt to save the world from aliens. The game originally came out in 1995 on the SNES. One of the coolest things about the original release was that every copy of the game came with the strategy guide. Luckily for us, the guide is being released digitally on the EarthBound website and comes optimized for the Wii U gamepad!
If you have any time to spare between Animal Crossing and Shin Megami Tensei 4 definitely pick this classic up. It is going for $10, a bit pricier than other virtual console games but keep in mind this game has been absent for far too long.
If you are short on cash, fear not. Nintendo is offering $30 to Club Nintendo members who register both Fire Emblem Awakening and Shin Megami Tensei 4. Now would be the perfect time to use some of that credit!
