PSN Hot List - 7.23.2013

Every Tuesday the PSN updates at an unspecified time that always seems to catch us by surprise. While we can't solve that problem for you, or the fact that the new store just plain doesn't work, we can weed through all the junk and fill you in on what you need to spend your hard earned PSN cash on. This is the PSN Hot List.

This week's list is a little on the short side, but there's some great content here nonetheless. We'll add the missing links when the store is updated.

Games:

Stealth Inc. - A Clone in The Dark (PS3/PSVita - $9.99/$7.99 for PS+) Stealth Inc. was previously released on PC as Stealth Bastard, and then Stealth Bastard Deluxe. If boiled down into one genre, I'd call it a hardcore stealth platformer. Featuring 80 levels, interesting gadgets, new HD visuals and an advanced custom level editor, it's looks to be a very promising title.

Stealth Inc. is also part of the PlayStation PLAY 2013 event. By purchasing Stealth Inc., Cloudberry Kingdom, Ibb and Obb and DuckTales: Remastered by August 20th, you'll get money back in PlayStation Store currency. If you purchase two of the four games you'll receive $3.00, purchasing three of the four will net you $6.00, and purchasing all four of the titles will get you $10.00 back, essentially giving you one of the games for free.

DLC:

Guacamelee! El Diablo's Domain (PS3/PSVita - $2.99) - The El Diablo's Domain pack holds a new area for Juan to explore called El Infierno. Featuring 17 different torture chambers and three new costumes for you to unlock, this one's definitely worth a purchase.

Here's a short description of each costume straight from the press release:

El Portero – A soccer goalie with a keen eye for style and a devastating throw
Alebrije – Harness the awesome power of these dream creatures to deal epic destruction, but players beware of the massive damage they will sustain themselves
Diablo’s Suit – Drain the life of enemies while looking good enough for an interview on Wall Street
We praised Guacamelee! for it's tight controls and fluid combat in our review, but if you found the original game too difficult you might want to stay away from this pack.

PlayStation Plus Update and Other Discounts:

Thomas Was Alone - Benjamin's Flight DLC (PS3/PSVita - $2.49/$1.74 for PS+) We loved Thomas Was Alone, and we suggest picking up the Benjamin's Flight DLC as well.

Metal Slug XX (PSP/PSVita - $19.99/FREE) This game is making the list because it's replacing Germinator as a free title for PS+ users. If you plan on playing Germinator at some point, make sure you add it to your downloads list before it disappears from the list!
