The original version of Persona 4 came out in December 2008 for the PlayStation 2 and it quickly became a critical, and commercial success. In 2012, Atlus released a complete remake for the PlayStation Vita. Featuring a strong graphical improvement and some smart new online features the game soon became a hit... again. You'll go to school and make friends during the day and trek across infinite dungeons battling monsters during the night. The gameplay and story are just as gripping as they were back in 2008 and the game feels right at home on the PlayStation Vita. Newcomers will be mastering their personas in no time and veterans of the series will find themselves slipping into the grip of nostalgia.

Website Feature: Polygon, and its New Series "Human Angle"
At The Edge of Humanity
It's easy to forget that behind massive triple-A games like Bioshock Infinite, and the great indie games like Guacamelee!, there are real people who put literal years of their lives into these experiences. Granted, some are in it to make money, but others are in it because it's their way of getting a message across to potentially millions of people. For many developers, making games is their life's passion, it's what they eat, sleep and breathe. Polygon is here to show us those people who put so much time and energy into something that could potentially leave them unemployed, or worse.
Polygon has recently launched a new series of features called "Human Angle". The point of these videos/articles is to help the gaming community get to know the people behind the games that they read about, spend their money on and play every single day.

No Podcast This Week
As you've probably already noticed, we didn't upload a Podcast this week. Don't worry, we didn't forget! On Monday, (our usual recording night) we were both talking and we decided that there just wasn't enough news to talk about. We didn't have a Game of The Week either so we decided that it would be best to skip a week so that we can continue to bring you the highest quality Podcast that we can possibly make.
If you're already a listener, thank you. I can't tell you how much we both appreciate your support. If you want to help out more, tell everyone you possibly can about this site.
Again, we're sorry that we've skipped another week. We promise this won't be a regular thing.

IGN Has Posted 15 Minutes of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Gameplay
If it's not totally apparent by now, it shouldn't come as any surprise that I'm incredibly excited for the new standalone expansion to Far Cry 3. After the weirdest announcement in history, it has been confirmed by Ubisoft that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will be released on May 1 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It also just so happens that IGN's Marty Silva got to sit down and play the first 15 minutes of the game. After watching, I can definitely say that I'm somehow more excited to play this game. You can see the video over at IGN by clicking the link below.

Screenshot... theft?
On Monday, April 9 Warner Bros. Games Montreal announced the next Batman game, Batman: Arkham Origins. Although the announcement was public, Game Informer was given exclusive information about the game, including screenshots.
According to Andy McNamara, editor-in-chief at Game Informer, all screenshots from Batman: Arkham Origins are only available through the Game Informer magazine. After Game Informer's May issue went live online for subscribers, screenshots that were included in the issue began appearing on other video game websites.

Guacamelee! Review
Guac and Roll, Baby
In the early months of 2013, Sony has successfully
solidified the PlayStation Vita as the go-to platform for Indie
developers. Games like Retro City
Rampage and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack have all found their nitch on
the powerful handheld, and it was just a matter of time before an Indie title
came around that simply outdid the rest in too many ways to count. That game
has finally arrived, enter Guacamelee!.

Website Feature: Video Game Voters Network

With some of the public using video games as a scapegoat for the Sandy Hook shooting and the mainstream media targeting games for causing violence, video games aren't getting a break down at Washington anytime soon. The Video Game Voters Network has made itself a watchdog for the rights of the video game industry and rallies the registered voters to take action to protect the gaming community.
Our First Review Goes Live Tuesday
I'll be hanging around in the comments the next day, so feel free to ask me anything about the game and how it was reviewed!

5 Screenshots Prove That Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is Real
That's right, you read the title correctly. The long-rumored standalone expansion, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is real. Even though it's been all but formally announced, five screenshots showed up today, and it looks incredible. You can check out the screenshots below.
This resurgance of 1980's Sci-Fi is definitely alright in my book. Let's hope Ubisoft comes out with a true announcement, and most importantly a release date soon.
Thanks, Kotaku.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Is (Hopefully) Real

"The year is 2007. It is the future. Earth has been ravaged by a nuclear war and new paths for peace must be found. A U.S. cyborg army may have found a solution: a powerful bioweapon on a distant island. A Mark IV Cyber Commando, Sergeant Rex Power Colt has been sent over to gather information and figure out what the hell is going on."
It's being played off as a movie that is written and directed by Alexis Graveyard. A teaser trailer, shown below, is also shown on the page.
If you look closely at the last frame of the trailer, you can see what appears to be a screen shot from whatever Ubisoft is teasing here.

Far Cry 3 hasn't seen much post release content in the form of true expansions to the game, but if Blood Dragon is real, it seems like it was definitely worth waiting for.
Side Note: If you want to have some fun on the teaser site, try entering the Konami code on your computer's keyboard. (Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A)
