When it comes to third party games, it’s been a rough year for Nintendo’s newest home console. The company has lost exclusivity to Rayman Legends, and to make matters worse games like Bioshock Infinite never made an appearance on the Wii U .
Today however, is a great day for Nintendo fans. Nintendo of America finally confirmed that Call of Duty Ghost, already announced for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and their next gen successors, will be coming to the Wii U. Call of Duty Ghost is the next game in Activision’s wildly popular first person shooter.

This announcement comes as a shock considering the numbers for black Ops 2 on Wii U were less than stellar. Some critics believed that the Wii U was the preferred console for Black Ops 2. It will be interesting to see whether or not Activision will put in the same effort on Call of Duty Ghost. Since Activision is not known as a company that pushes games forward when given poor numbers I see a very poor port in the future.
